Do you guys heard before that got an IT monster lake in Rawang?
Need all the bros advice..
Huge lake doesn’t mean huge fish or many fishes. Better small pond & less accessible where the fish feeding is more competitive & less chances of being raped.
I live for the Hunt!

Hi calvin,

Officially opened 1st July

…the rights to brag…
very exp!
an hour rm50? plus for every fish landed need to pay oso, and if bring home pay even more… are they nuts?
rm50 1 hour, normal fishing at least 4 hours make it rm200. Not yet include food, transport etc and not even include fish caught din bring back and need to pay. Just go thailand la
I only have 13 years of fishing experience, so must beri tunjuk ajar!
Visited the place this at about 11am. About 8 rods in the pond (perhaps friends of the family??), everyone using light lines (8-12 lbs). In the 20 minutes I was there, no bite at all. One guy said his 1-hour already up, no bites yet. Various baits used: hong, live fish, worm, lures.
The main pond measures about (based on my foot-stride…hehe) 150m by 50-60m. Did not see much surface activity, water was murky “yellow” (perhaps due to rain last night??).
Not sure how they came up with the pricing…but looks like a sure “bankrap/tutup kedai” operation.

Hopefully la… it’s better they make it to commercial pond la like tat no need cheat angler’s money

Star Trek, Thanks for the info in English. Very useful for Chinese handicapped person like me.
Been received the FB page from Joon Ching. He is asking when do I free. TJS, how? What is your fren good catch?
Just need some latest update on the pond suitability for “Pak Kor” angler such as me. RM50 maybe or maybe not worth it.

the way i read it, they operate the C&R concept.
They segregate their fish into two categories. Those you caught below 1.5kg under the 1st category, free to take home. Above 1.5kg, pls release or else have to pay the stated price per kg. For 2nd categoy, stricty C&R only.
RM50 per hour seems stiff, that I agree. Unless their stock is abundant that i am guaranteed of hit rate by big big mekong cat even though one hit in hour only, then i dun mind paying, LOL.
do they have any other website? sorry i just came back from a time travel journey back to the stone age, so i do not have any facebook account. I must have missed something since I spent the last one year time travelling ![]()
Ah pek u wan to go fish there ar?
How big are the fishes? Based on the pictures on their wall, the biggest patin/mekong was listed as 30+ kg. The alligator gar was below 15kg. The african catfish was below 5kg. Amount of fishes does not seemed to be that much based on the surface splashes (based on my 20 minutes observation). In comparison, Warga emas has more splashes.
Hmm.., maybe TJS can provide some info (from his friend that caught some fishes).

trekkie,
you planning for another ‘observation’ trip over the weekend?
