Walau…the kerapu pond was jam-pack..shoulder-to-shoulder, therefore I skip that and went for pond 4 instead. Someone landed a 11++kg kerapu naga at pond 4 instead, around 1++pm - baby belanak on float, number 1 standing at the moment… havoc man!
There is a commercial PayPond called Tanjung Keramat in Kuala Selangor, situated near DePalma Inn, there are 3 ponds all togather, one pond only will be opened daily. The most happening is the pond no 3 open every Sunday. Details of the exact locatoin can be found if you were to Google Maps, zoom-in , look for jalan Tanjung Keramat (the pond is at the end of the road). Nowadays the charge is at RM 11 per hour, min 3 hours, deposit RM60. Remark from locals- ikan kasi lepas tak banyak[:(], ikan ada rasa lumpur. The pond open at 8.am daily. Best killer bait for NAGA is the Kuala Selangor’s live udang galah[:D].
As usual bro, on float, hook through tail…can try at sea lion..hehehehe…have to import stock of saltproof Udang galah, the one from prawn farm (as in commercial prawning paypond) kenot last[:D].
I have been there most of the time, rate has gone up to 12 per hour, midnight from 12-7 rm10 per hour. It has been centre attraction of anglers from sabak bernam, sekinchan, tg karang and even sungai buloh. now kolam 1&2 opened a week after raya, it has been quite impressive no more anak ikan around but now it has been slow, coz no jackpot anymore yet better still from jeram pond. So far during air mati…the fish seems to be reluctant to take bait. Best bait is still belanak, or at times live prawn. Big siakap and kerapu still available in pond 2. Pond 3 open only on sunday, rate is 12per hour…tapi ikan ada bau hanyir …[xx(]
As per this week, there’s one mini pond for udang harimau is on construction, should be ready in operation in 3 months time I suppose. The fish this week prefer kembong than most of the bait. Fishes are reluctant to take the bait, water condition is not impressive, being cold and least salty…and perhaps the jenahak is from pantai remis ,perak , very well known for its habit of “makan-curi”. No new kerapu came and realeased, neither no siakap and bawal. I suppose the amount of fishes are lesser. Competition are getting stiffer, Sg sembilang (Jeram)paypond opened day before yesterday, perhaps this is the last time mr Hiew will be helped by the dato’…kwang, kwang , kwang. Haji Salleh’s pay pond in Bagan Pasir has been impressive despite of the fact too many ikan duri, senangin etc…that you have to continuously using casting technique.
