Price wise, realistically speaking, I don’t think the T3 would cost more than the Z or the Steez. The T3 is made of Zaion composite polymer which is very similar to Shimano’s CI4. In other words, the frame and side plates are made of stiff polymer plastic. No doubt, it’ll be light but I’d expect it to cost less than magnesium frame reels.

nothing fishy about the price for 51 and 101, it’s arounf that price in KL up till last month. But whether the new stock is still selling at that price, i have yet to find out.

Bro, I didn’t say it can get lower. 1,250 to 1,300 is about the lower price i found in KL, although one shop in puchong i called quote me around 1,100 plus for a 101 but no stock…i dunno how true is that price.
Hmmm.. Let see after a few month.. Maybe the price will change perhaps??

yup, in March i bought alphas R reel n a valleyhill travelling rod (both also like last piece in that shop). When the new stock arrived in April, the price went up between 10-20% because of the yen. The boss said the stock was ordered before the earthquake and the Yen rate has already gone up compare to end 2010. After the earthquake, the yen move another 7%-10% up.
Looks like I will avoid buying japanese stuff for now.
