not really, the xPuyu flyrods, incidentally these are reasonable 7wt rods cost RM120 new at TCE. with members discounts and the occasional sales prices, some of the lesser models goes for less than RM100. The Lemax model, which is actually much better is sold at RM140 also at TCE.
sometime back, there were also some Surecatch branded fly rods which were sold at RM95, albeit it was at a clearance sale. I bought 4 of them and converted them to a Fly/Spin rod by rebuilding a detachable rod butt. These turned out to be excellent UL rod.
on mudah.com, there are admittedly many con-man trying to make a fast buck. it is strictly cavaet emptor (or “let buyers beware” on laymen terms).
anything that seemed too good almost always is. as an old Chinaman once told me, there is no one standing at a street corner handing out money.
Noted bro. Thanks for the advice.

guys,i wanna ask for ur opinion..
last week i went to a tackle shop near my place and the shop selling one set of EUPRO graphite flyrod wt6 for rm176 something..[:0][:0]
is it worth the money?[?][?]
thanks in advance..[;)]
best way to decide is to get your hands on it. Just holding it will be the best judge, just bear in mind this will be a lower level rod and should not be compared to a Sage or even a Ross. Most of these will cost more than twice of the RM176 for their lowest range.

erkk…[:0][:0][:0]
looks like i gotta wait for my salary increment to buy new set..
hmm..gotta stick to my fly “broomstick” rod xpuyu at the moment…[xx(][xx(]
well, almost any flyrod is going be better than the xPuyu. the xPuyu that is weighted as 7 / 8 is more like a 9 or 10. If you could find their 5 / 6 weight, it would still be an overkill for most of our local fishes.
Just drink a few less bottles of beer, and you will have it. No need for a salary increase.
eventho my xpuyu wt7-8 feels more like a brooomstick to me rather than wt9-10 rod,i’m slowly getting the hang of it..[:p][:p]
paired with tomman flyline wt5,i think my distance becoming…ermm..err…ok la…much more better than my 1st cast..hehe..[:D][:D][:D]
to try another fly-line, the Tomman is not the smoothest line but it is the cheapest. That is until Nick Ooi at TackleBox sold me a RM9.90 fly-line.
you could improve the line significantly by treating the line to a good cleaning and apply either the ‘floatant’ or ‘sinking’ chemical, your line would be much smoother and casts better.
good cond SAGE wt 9 going for rm500
freebies: scientific angler reel with (floating) lines
price still negotiable http://www.lubuk.net/mall/showproduct.php/product/422/title/rod-sage/cat/3
who want TFO(temple fork outfitters) 4pcs 3 wt fly rod also i willing to letgo for rm500 only… put at home also for display only, wat a waste

you la [:D]
didn’t know you were into fly fishing
or am i mistaken and you’re helping a friend get rid of their TFO fly rig?
acheong bro,
i quit fly-fishing already… just not my type of game at all, too temperamental for my liking, and absolutely not suitable for my type of fishing or general malaysian fishing scene. Got wind cannot, got a lot of grass cannot, need huge space, unless u r a pro u can’t really have much fun with it. So i gave up
the TFO is absolutely mine and mine alone. Just think tat it’s kinda waste of talent sitting there only might as well sell it off…
