Recent trip of Caffeine and his two friends Adrian & Rodney
chasing the sails at Rompin. Weather was fine, but the sails
were hard to find, anyway each one had a good time experiencing
the awesome power of the sails with light tackles:

Here are some video shots from the trip:

Hi Thomas
thanks very much for guiding us at Rompin as well as the great food, the wild boar curry was very good. We had a great time and learned alot. I’m just back in KL at the moment after Sumatera. Fishing in Sumatra was amazing. Popping for GTs, yellow fin, dog tooth tuna and an unbelievable fight with an estimated 250lb Marlin on a jig. We got that on one video. I’ll post a report next week when I get back to Melbourne.
Thanks again from the three of us. We will be back! (to get that Cobia)

At last you are back, bet you have been enjoying your long holiday, fishing in Rompin for three days and hopped to Bandar Acheh for another week. You guys are great, would be most happy to fish with
you all again. On a serious note, plan another trip for end of October 2012 the height of the big sails season after which will be the NORTH EAST MONSOON that lasts until early MARCH which is also good for sails, Spanish Mackerel, dorado, queen fish, cobia, diamond trevally, Gts, etc…
If possible get Adrian and Rodney to send me some pictures from their cameras. Hope to see some of your Acheh’s trip soon…
Regards,
