Date: 17 - 19 March 2008
Destination: P. Jarak
Boat: GT Chaser
Tekong: Ah Ho
This is our first trip with Ah Ho and we are very happy with his service. The overall impression that he gave us was good and friendly captain of the boat. The trip was fun and productive as he taught us the curves of fishing in Pulau Jarak as well. In this trip, the orignal plan was to have 8 person but only 2 (including myself) showed up so he proceeded with it and had a superb experience. [:D][:D]

More reports and pictures to follow … [8D]
Your soo mabooloosss mannnn.[;)]…let us enjoy with your pics gallery on my Faabooloss Dream spot fishing..[;)]..Cek Sukaaaaaaaaaaa.[:)][:D][:D]
I couldn’t agree more the amount we paid was [V][V] but everything was quite last minute when the rest pull out and we had no choice but to continue. Anyway .. here are some of the pics we manage to take.
This is the first time we board GT Chaser.
The sighting of P. Sembilan makes us feel good.
More of P. Sembilan for your view.
Back to condition of GT Chaser, ever clean, tidy and neat.
Here comes the 1st action of the day.
And the final result was a joy to behold.
The only night catch.
Next morning after 2 solid hours of missing more than 10 bites, we head off the island to some place nearby.
And the reward was good.[:D]
Following that success, more to come.
It was a heavy price to pay, but all in good fun and company.
It didn’t stop there, wish I could rewind time now.[8D]
All in this trip was very good for us. I have to thank Captain Ho for his hospitality and kindness in showing us P. Jarak. True he may not be perfect. In fact, originally I was worried because a few members had bad remarks on him but went ahead hoping for the best.
From the start till the end, Captain Ho greeted us with smile and treated us as young apprentice. He showed us how to tie the knots, how to strike, how to control the game, where to cast and what to do. Best of all, he was friendly doing things together with us.
Also thank the 4 friends of mine who didn’t turn up. [;)][;)] YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!![xx(][xx(]
Hey dreamworks … thats one hell of a catch man [8D][8D] Congrats. I went to Pulau Jarak with Ah Ho as well late January this year with 6 person onboard, and we thought it was quite luxurious to have ample of sleeping space for 6. You guys went with 2 !!! i guess you can do summersaults in the cabin without much problems [:D][:D][:D] !
Every boatman have their own set of attitude, like it or not its something that every angler have to bear with as we do not know the sea as well as them. Good to hear that Ah Ho’s hospitality towards to both of you is a pleasant one.
I bet you guys had hell of a time bringing up the trevallies, groupers and the queenies !
Can’t help but pulling a big smile on my face seeing your catches… congrats!! Beautiful fishes, lasting memories… that’s what angling is all about. Sorry about the “trip deserters” though… but at least now you can shove these pictures right on their faces, hahaha.
Boat price… pricey. Looks on their faces when you show these pictures… priceless. [:)]
Congratulation on yr catches. However, I would recommend that you practice catch & release in the future especially on those small GT, small Big Eye Jack, Barracuda, and Queenfish. Afterall, they are not good eating fishes. Capt Ah Ho usually promotes Catch & Release especially on the GT’s, and have the Catch & Release Card to record down our catch. Let those GT’s growing up for the spot in the future for our next fight. If we don’t do it, who else ???
Have fun fishing, and be a sport. “FISHING IS A HOBBY, AND TO CATCH A FISH IS A BONUS. ALWAYS PRACTICE CATCH & RELEASE.”
Thank you bros. It was really the good effort of the captain that contributed to these catch. [:D]
Bro roy64, I agree with you. In fact, we caught many more than what we brought back as that was exactly what Ah Ho told us as well. Except for 1 or 2 of each species that we took, the rest was released if the hook was outside (not within the internal organs) and the fish was not even brought unto the boat. In all I think we hauled in around 6 - 7 Queenfish at least but only 2 was brougt back. [:D][:D]

Well done creamworks, looks like you have imposed on yourself the bag limit. Happy fishing and tight line always !![^]
Thank you bros. [:D] Lady luck was smiling on us and we had a really good time.
Bro JerryGK, yes there is sleeping cabin at Ah Ho’s boat. In fact, comfortably I think the boat can fit aroun 8-10 person (depending on size) and shower place as well. [8D]
