Total 4 kakis, started the journey at 1030pm from JB-Pekan, pick up few kakis on the way to kota tinggi. Reach kota tinggi around 1145 to pick up live prawn (the prawn can tahan 2 days). we stopped at Mersing to have teh tarik and reach Pekan 3am.
Day 1: from field report, not much big fish landed and thing going rather slow. So decided to go unjam jigging for sotong.. after 2 hours caught around 15 sotong [:(][:(]
then decided to play bottom, see if any leather jacket around.. waited for few hours and only caught 2 leather jacket but quite big 800gram, some semi vellu etc.. lot of small fishes [:(][:(]
Captain decided to move to parrot fish spot, waited for one hour no result.. then suddenly a strong pull at kaki “M” rod, unfortunately within 10 seconds the fish spooled kaw his remaining 120m line, he used his tumb to tahan and leader give way.. must be mama ebek..
Then we move to another spot fishing leather jacket size around 400gram, caught around 30.Kaki “M” saw some action on surface and decide change to small red head jig, immediately rewarded with 2 x 800gram-1kg selar papan but misses few.
Day 2: dedicated to big fish..
kaki “R” lost a big parrot fish when the 30lb leader parted..
kaki “R” lost a big fish when leader entangle with connected, and connected straighten (berkley 150lb ??) ..

in between the 2 lost, kaki “M” hit 2 mama ebek, 11kg and 12kg using
