Boleh bagi idea tak cara nak buat gewang lebih kurang </font id=“blue”> macam LC wander dan sammy tak? sebab nampak simple tetapi sangat efektif. Kalau boleh yang paling mudah (guna kayu).
Harap sesiapa boleh bantu, maaf kalau soalan saya keterlaluan.[:)]

aku dok eksperimen skrng dgn both wander n sammy. managed to do the topwalker like sammy, tapi wander still on the way.

the trick with pencil baits are:

  1. most important, the weight placements. try to weigh the lure so that it sits in the water with a 45 degree angle.
  2. shape of body: a banana shaped body will make walking easier.

then comes more headache:

  1. like how to make it glide/skate wider and such. all i can say is u gotta experiment with the lures a lot until u get the desired action!!!
  2. different angles of the lure in the wter gives different actions!

for the wander,
have to weigh the lure so that it sinks horizontally. so far i have yet to callibrate the weights with the split rings+treble hooks+hook hangars…itu yang buat aku nak tibai orang nih hahhahahhahha…

i agree w FT n would like to make my topwalker a bit less aerodymanic on the head portion

coincidently, i’m toying w one n hv just completed carving n all d hardware last nite
will proceed 2 try n get the weighting right, i hope … esp when doing a 60mm size

Im sorry but this question might be a lil illrelevent.. Can i know the difference between the sammy and wander? Arent they both pencil lures? what is the difference in terms of design?

sammy is a topwater pencil bait…it walks-the-dog on the surface

wander on the other hand, is a stick bait…and it sinks. walks the dog if worked underwater
