Please help spread the word! Sad and inhumane!

Dear friends of MFN,

I chanced upon a documentary while trying to find links to Hooked(NGC) and after watching it, really had an effect on me. I feel sad and angry! I know we all love our fishing and love our fish, and it really breaks my heart watching and knowing that this activities is going on.
The annual dolphin drive in Japan that start every September and last for 6 months, estimated around 23,000 dolphins are killed each year in Japan. A few of the dolphins end up being sold to aquariums and seaworld amusement parks and the rest are killed for their toxic meat(mercury). The dolphin meat are often passed as whale meat and there are no labels on the dangers of mercury poisoning on the packagings.(info from the docu and web)
I strongly urge members of this community to share this documentary with anyone they can to raise awareness that things like this is going on in this world today. I have signed the petition and posted the links on every forum/site that I frequent.
I have no problem with killing animals for food but certainly not in the inhumane ways they are killed, especially when the meat is toxic to humans!

alot of things could change if everyone have the right mentality…
as always… the first change needs to come from ourselfs… i’m starting with myself…

dolphins and whales are being killed each year around the globe, we’ve all seen it online, tv, facebooks, youtube…and i am sure that the people does know about it…but they just can’t do anything especially its happening half way across the world…i feel angry bout it too, but all we can do it pass the msg on, and everything else is like beyond our hands

as with many things in our life we do what we can…
i’ll pass this msg to ppl i know and hope they will pass it to others they know…
for our country i’ll wait for the time to put the X on the paper…
information and knowledge does make a difference… even tho it’s normal ppl like us…
