as for the GDX, caught a nice toman estimate 2kg but lost due to someone junk line… anyhow wat’s next is more significant… the next cast a fish pounce on it but it bounce off n landed on a big tree trunk n stucked. So i broke it and resume casting, thinking i could get it back later(bad mistake)
as i too engrossed with toman frenzy forgot to notice it’s getting really dark. so i scrambled across the other bank trying in vain to cast for the GDX. Then lucky found a long bamboo, so tie a line in front in hope i could snare the lure back. But too bad it;s so heavy cos of the length(more than 5 metres n i am holding the end part). Tiring but no choice, newly bought lure not cheap stuff n no picture of a catch yet so keep trying till i got it at last. But then the mainline tat broke with it tangled somewhere underneath so it was lost again for the 2nd time.
again, scramble to the opposite n hopefully my lure will stuck the long line if it’s not drifted far away(by now it’s almost pitch dark). After 10 or so blind cast miraculously i snag it back. But it was stuck again, luckily it dislodge this time… 3 tries to got back the GDX. How eventful. Got the lure n lost it then got back all at the same day hahaha
anyway, great lure… like it as much as LC Gunnish now, they swim almost alike tho, superb lure. Will get more once i have the extra cash

GDX is a great lure and i have great confidence in it. But please remember your safety first ya, can always get a replacement if the lure is lost.
I had an experience retrieving an LC Wander through mud at low tide with a thick rope anchored to the bank. Dont want to go through it again!

yea safety first… go thru a lot before to save a lure, almost drown once or twice forgot. But like tat one lor, money hard to get to buy replacement better try the luck at saving first hehehe
