Any view on Quantum Catalyst CT40PTi-A Spinning Reel. Mind you the latest model in the market is CT40PTi-B which costs 140$. This is perhaps last year model. Any one who has been using it. A friend of mine is sending this reel to me [:I][:D] (I would like to have more friends like him [:I][:p][}:)] )

problem here is, most of the stuffs u mentioned are only available via the net, and not on the shelves of the shops around here. if not mistaken, i’ve read previously that Pahang Anglers World(PAW) did carry some items from Quantum. try here perhaps? http://www.fishing.net.my/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=42
the only quantums i’ve seen so far (as far as Penang is concerned) are those old-school, run off the mill products of the late 80s and 90s available at Siow Chiang Penang. i’m not sure who the local importers are now for Quantum, but i think its under WC Bradley which also owns Zebco & Van Staal?
looks like we will be depending on you to intro to us these ‘international’ reels that we don’t see much of here!
