RAPALA brand trusted by my friends n I 4 catching monsters of the sea espacially spanish mackerel (tenggiris)…
Do you n all the forumers have any suggestion of types of Rapala can we use 4 trolling???

The flagship of bluewater trolling has always been Rapala CDMAG. The new XRAP MAGNUM has also been very successful for trolling. Depending on where you fish, the sizes and colours varies. As a guide, for most Malaysian waters, the CDMAG11 and CDMAG14 are the most productive. The XRMAG15 and XRMAG20 are also very good.
Some other parts of Malaysia, the CDMAG18 and XRMAG30 are the ones that they preferred. Colours wise, all time favourite is RED HEAD! The other popular colours are like GM,SM and FT.

i always use firetiger type for tenggiri.
its very productive here (pulau aur) than others..
recently, i found that CDMAG14 firetiger sold out here in Johor..
i’ve searched everywhere near Pasir Gudang, Kota Tinggi and also Mersing.

Fire Tiger FT is a good trolling colour. Hm… maybe they did not stock up. Mersing area is Keong Ming sports and in JB, there is Fishingline. They stock up plenty of Rapala lures. [:D]
