Rapala Professional Plier type lip grip

Dear all,

Just acquired a Rapala Plier Type lip grip which is made out of plastic. I bought it at RM15 from a local tackle shop. Check with the owner he mentioned that it would minimize injury to the fish..Anyway, what do u guys think..Can this plier shape lip grip works??

i think it’ll definitely work. it’s just a question of how well and for how long. hehe.

recently i saw somebody using something that fits the description u just gave. dunno if it’s rapala one actually.

According to Rapala it’s called Plastic Fish Holder, Not ‘Professional’ or the ProGuide Series at least. I wonder if it’s the same thing?

Must be quite strong if it is intended to immobilize a fish - wonder whether a lip grip will cause less damage for the C&R crowd.

How can that be RM15 only??
