this pond where got secret… alot ppl tabao already lor the big big ones… 56cm was the biggest there
the guide said my group crazy to use 8lb line… well we eat, sleep and breathe PB’s man! 8lb line bolehhhh , the guide uses 30-50lb line… kiasu ler!
tjs: AK landbase also can get good fish. u gotta know AK like the back of your hands. averagely 3 ppl, 1 morning session we get about 10-20 pcs of good size PB.. Mingmon also landed 2 good PB on 1 popper. a personal record of sorts.

Haha most of the area easily accessible la i mean… anyway was there for pb 2 weeks ago, end up catching only small pbs n the biggest is surprisingly a sebarau slightly above half kilo… luckily tat fish makes my day, or else wondered what i gonna curse travelling 4+ hours wee hour in the morning n go back midnight no sleep 24hours++…
n yea la 8lb boleh lah… i also use 8lb pb also tak mau… look see look see only i swear i will shoot them if only i hav a rifle with me(ask sumone to use my setup n let the fish chase, then i tembak kau kau!!!)

Badus and TJS…that line was superb for casting yet the price are cheaper than others..but it will easily get dirty because the colour are white..the best thing i like about this line thin diameter, round and smooth..

i use powerpro “uncoated” 8lbs big roll from Red-Hot. very nice and smooth line. so far so good, just have to control dragset abit.
gopeng-kotabharu… does that ring a bell? =P nice place but a bit crampy if got other parties.
Just a tip, PB’s are getting smarter, so we have to work harder with our new techniques. once u understand wat they want, u’ll start catch them. also they move about, so u have to try at Spot A-Z.
