Hi guys, i tried refurbishing my Ross fly reel recently because i saw some symptoms of corrosion underneath the factory paint job. The reel si made of dye cast aluminum i think. I stripped off all the paint and sprayed it with laquer based paint but i seem to have a problem with the strength of the bonding. It just wont stick properly and wont cure nicely. Any idea what kind of surface prep and primer i should use?
