Repainting rod

Hi,

I plan to repaint the my cherrywood and add on a few more guide.. i already strip all guide.. now want i need to do to repaint it? what kind of paint i need?

im always use vehicles type paint brand such Auto Colour. but you need an air compressor and gun spray can to make this.you need to lay a primer if you want to use a colour, but just get clear coat if you only want to preserve the blank, clear will cost rm23, primer rm55 both have a separated part to mixed before it’s ready to use.
