how is the strike rate at this pond?
are fishes released regularly?what time?
are baits (live prawn) sold here?can use live fish ie lampam or not?
what about other bait like cut fish (kembung/selayang), effective or not?

i haven been to this pond for quite sometimes…
been there only once.. been busy with work so haven got the time to go there yet.
so far as i know.. the live bait are sold there.. and only prawn. they do sell dead prawn there too. . . and as for the rest.. not so sure about that. have to ask some mfn forumer about that. but as soon as im free.. i will be going there again! cheers!

How was fishing TF and FV lately? BTW i pass by Sri Kembangan and turn in to the above mention pond and I found that it is closed. You know what is going on or you are refering to another pond?

TF pond.. upset =( that night only to catch 1 tilapia, just came back from FV today. well.. only manage to hook up on a rohu of an average size of 3 kg.
i think you went down to the closed pond, there are another pond beside the closed pond. the first time i tot that pond is closed, then some aunty told me its not this pond, its the other pond on top of this pond. so ya. . . if in case you are referring to the top pond which has closed down.. then sorry innerzen bro, didnt know wats going on . r u interested to go to batu arang paypond?

Jerri, I was refering to the lower pond that used to stock saikap. The upper pond is fresh water pond or it was and now convert to salt?

innerzen, the lower pond was closed. it jst left the upper pond which they had converted to saltwater paypond.
i went there few weeks back, 7pm~10pm, zero fish caught.. the fishing rate quite poor that night…
Thank you bro ericlau for answering it for me, yeap. it is now a saltwater pond. . went there around 3-6.30pm..no of fish caught … zero again…=S. maybe i really dont know how to fish at saltwater fishing pond.

went to this pond last weekend..it was closed for cleaning..will open on 22 nov..the place looks quite scary especially the pondok and surrounding and if not many people fishing it could be so sunyi hehe…but plan to test this pond soon…
