Rompin Water Round 2

Spike by the heat of recent article being published in Pancing(Sept 07) and Rod&Line(Oct), we planned for another trip to Rompin with the same boatman from Absolute Angling, Ah Chui and Ah Ping.

This trip’s anglers are mainly from Low Yat Net’s Fishy Forum and new to sea fishing. It’s a one day fishing at one of the rocky island in SriBuat Archipelago. Let’s the photos tell you the stories… [8D]

In this episode, we practically did quite a numerous techniques on seafishing but unfortunately nothing big to allow the new anglers to have their adrenalin rush. From popping, to jigging, to bottom, to drift bait and also some trolling, but didn’t managed to boost the interest from the larger predator. Nevertheless, it gave the anglers plenty of fun as a beginners to sea fishing even tho that it’s not even close to those that we see in the fishing magazines and DVDs.

Boatman was truly helpful and giving plenty of guides to the new seafishing anglers. Kept changing spots whenever the bites are slow, even changed the techniques to induce more strikes. Despite they are hardworking and positive at all time, guess that luck is not on our side. This is the type of boatman that I hope for when I started my fishing, but guess that it never happened to me.

Till next time, I’ll try to cover more fishing grounds and techniques. Adios!
