We were there for a day trip and other species were a lil lethargic as well…but who gives 2 nuts about other species when the sails were feeding on every single live baits we chucked in.It all started off by 11.30am up to around 4pm+…hehehe…We would have landed more than just 8 sails..if we dare to go for double hook ups and our heavier gear were ‘overkill’ so we decided to stick to the 30lbs and 40lbs ones…hehe…one hellluva fight,tiring and WORTH IT !!

I guess soon youll see the price hike..we were there for a day’s trip and it cost us RM900 for the boat, so u can divide it by 4 anglers…We did caught a number of todaks all above 2-3kg ones and a few pesty fishes..which i donno wats the name, Sky called ‘lan ciau’ fish..tehehehe…and this small pest took our 40g jigs !!..I’d say its a good catch rate before the season actually blooms !!..Thomas said its above average !!..I’d say we would easily been bagged out hitting the double digit counts..ehehee

ouhh no, LASIK ka ??..err not included la…aisehh..only a few minutes struggling to read, also need to pay for lasik ??..eehehe…i only cover those free eye check ups !!!

hey buddy,
out of the 4 main outfit, we only used two of it which is;
1st outfit > Daiwa Monster Mesh PE2-4 + Daiwa Certate Hyper Custom + 30lbs Fins
2nd Outfit > Saltiga Spinning Jig + Daiwa Saltiga + 40lbs saltiga surf
not too sure about the specs but ill ask sunny to confirm on it

ooo…thanks for the tips bro…actually i thought of using something even lighter when tackling these sails [:P] but then again…it may stress the fish so i don’t think i’ll be using any lighter outfit nw… [:)]
