Anybody from Seremban that does flyfishing? Would like to meet up and try some venues in the vicinity.

Riki and Hasruanlover,

Ive just got a fly kit and was hoping that someone could recommend someplace around NS. Actually the furthest Ive gone so far is the field next door to practice casting and was hoping to meet up with some experienced guys to sort of learn the ropes . If any of you guys dont mind a newbie tagging along I would be more than happy to join you guys for a trip. No is 0192310398

Hi guys, i’m from Melaka but working in KL. I thought there is PB in NS, why not go try out for them? I think its at one of the ponds in Kuala Sawah? I’ve never been there though.

Hello,riki,apa khabar?Saya dari Johol,but now workig in KL but still often go back to Johol…Johol is near to Tampin…you are from Tampin which area?Hope to meet you in advance cos i knew that you are a sifu in fly fishing..

First of all, I’m no sifu. Never will be… [:p]

Secondly, my parents’ house is in Taman Indah, Tampin. The place where I started to learn all things “fishy” with a couple of good buddies… [;)]

But now I’m residing in KL. So if you’re nearby, we can always meet up. Or else you’ll have to wait when I’m back in Tampin… [;)] [:)]

hey guys, im a noob based in N9(port Dickson). But im only here in the weekdays but would love to try some fly fishing after work sometime. any recommendations on what type of flies to use when beach fishing?

Beach fly fishing… that’s interesting!
Try using clousers & deceivers in the combo-colors of chartreuse, white, pink & red. Something should bite. If you wanna go for the Bebulus (Whithings), use the Red Wire Worm fly. Have fun… [;)]

If you wanna go for bebulus,go 10th mile beach(blue lagoon)in front the rumah peranginan persekutuan,alot of bebulus there,have a try and good luck…[:D][:D]

thanks alot guys. sorry for another rather dumb question, can i use those appolo hooks for them? since they are pretied, can i just cut one of those hooks off and use them for fly fishing?
