I have seen this rod and I kind of fancy the looks. If I am not mistaken bro aznaff also have with him a shimano but am not very sure. Maybe he can enlighten you when he pops in. Is your shimano a spining surf rod? Whatever it is, it is a cool rod and it is a shimano!

Aji 12footer, some of us MFNers are going to the Starcruise Paypond this friday at 5pm. This is the only paypond big enough for you guys to whack your rod. I remember the last time Aji Bro Onn was there with me, he caught a siakap…[:D]

Btw, there’s is also a new Pulau Ketam jetty at Port Klang. My friend caught siakaps near the pillar of this new jetty. He told me his rod not long enough to cast out to pillar no 12 and 13 where fishes are playing, i smiled…hehee. So Aji 12footer, wanna go try out this place during air nyerong???[:D]

Long time no hear from u.

That monster kolam still operational ke, I heard people say it already close!!! please komform. The kolam is only place u have to use surf rod siap with tripod to fish.

This Friday cannot la, maybe one of the Saturday. What fish they have over there, beside siakap n Bawal, got Jenahak or not.

Hi semut, Yes, I do have several Shimano 3 pc rods but they are of different models.

I only haved the Horizon series … 2 Horizon SC Special 405 and 425 (this is ultra stiff, good for sport casting and big game rock fishing) and 1 Horizon Surf Game 425 (good for all round beach fishing).

Yeah, agree with Aji Aznaff, the Shimano Horizon is quite stiff and can really cast far. I’ve being using my Shimano Surf Leaders for years now and i really like it, still one of my best traveling surfcasting rod…[:D]

Aji Bro Onn, now the Starcruise pond got put groupers too beside the jenahak…[:D]

Semut, i got my Shimano Surf Leader 405 CXT from my shop, JT Fishing Bazaar at Port Klang, they are constructed fr 99.7% of carbon and dial Flash X-Cross carbon tape design, powerful, sensitivity and cast-ability…[:D]

Aji Bro Onn, that day we only manage to get 2 reddrum(senangin taiwan). We saw some anglers there caught a 3kgs++ siakap and some nice size ikan merah…[:D]

anuar md dom, saya kenal sangat.
saya belum beli lagi telescopic rod tu, masih mencari sbb tak banyak kedai jual that kind of rod.
kalau memancing tu, kat pengkalan balak je.. belakang kedai asam pedas mak limah. tapi lama dah tak pergi. sekarang dok recce kolam bayar kat sg. long je.
