For those of you looking for a rod that can toss the giant poppers so popular for GTs, this rod’s absolutely amazing. This stick was produced to meet the demands of the muskie anglers here who’ve started throwing one pound bulldawgs nicknamed pounders as a regular part of their arsenal. It’s also being used for tossing the giant double cowgirls. Rated for tossing lures weighing 8 -20 oz, this stick is an absolute beast. I’ve been playing with it for awhile and have so far been impressed but have yet to find a scenario to truly test the fighting durability of the stick. (No Wisconsin fish readily available big enough to really test the rod) so, I was wondering if anyone in Malaysia has yet had a go at this with a big GT or other bad-blooded animal and had either success or failure with the rod.
