besides the weight… what’s the difference of the two versions of stellas? the us versions are abit on the heavy side and the price tag has quite a large difference…enlighten me please [:)][:)]

from my opinion, if the JDM’s are using a lighter Carbon knob, weight saving is +/-40g. u can opt to buy Fisherman (Plastic)knob or TunaMax/JM knobs for more weight saving advantage
Otherwise its the same. Only the US models spools are double anodized for better salt resistant. it is still recommended to strip line after every trip to wash n also choose to grease the spools before filling in.
Stella JDM/US prices has huge variance between 2200- 3300.
I m running my stella’s on SOM 8k-16k spools so it doesnt matter at all. get the cheaper US model… fill in better line because that makes the difference
