Surfcasting in Miri @ Bintulu, Sarawak....

Greetings… guys, looking at the nice & long beaches in Miri & Bintulu, I’m interested in trying the ‘surfcasting’.

FYI, I’ll be transfered to Miri in another 1 @ 2 months time. It will be great if there are surfcasting sifus in the area to teach me the techniques.

looks like there is no mfn kaki in miri in surfcasting… or surfcasting is not popular there[:(]

i’m an mfn forumer but not into surfcasting… but i know some people… and places to surfcast..

sikda forumer… tapi biasa sidaknya surfcast kat area muara pulau melayu… and kadang2 kan tanjong lobang… area2 sia.. mun marina bay pun boleh juak..

Go to luak bay for the serf casting. If you are lucky you will see the nude matsalleh’s there.

atai bro, thks for the info. bulan depan mungkin ada kamek dtg miri agik. transfer mungkin postponed ke bulan 6 @ 7.

mr toman, been lepak at luak bay few times, think i’m considered not so luckylah… never seen mat saleh nude there[:D]

I know this thread is for surf casting but are there any good freshwater spots in miri town

thks, i’ll be back for gawai as well (if not been transfered yet) but will ‘balik kampung’ to sri aman.

i was told by cousins & relatives in miri that the best option for freshwater fishing will be the rivers… for fish or for prawns, your choice[:)]

or other option is to drive down to bintulu. river fishings are very active there.
