I am still very new to the fishing in Malaysia. Sincerely if you guys can give me some feedback if TD is much preferred to TDD (Tail Dancer Deep)
Personally, I like the TD series more as I find the action more lively. However, diving depth could be of importance here. Appreciate your feedback [:D]
TD forever…
My favourite lure to date… the best of the best! Well, only casting distance not tat great but others it;s superb!!! I own almost 20 of them and lost around 10, but if possible i still wan more, serve very well!!!
Howver can’t comment much on TDD as never used one before… But i can conclude tat if it’s action is not hampered by the deep diving capability then i’m sure it’s an non issue here… There’re shallow and deep water everywhere just depends where and when to chug them out!

Without a doubt the TD is here to stay in Malaysia’s angling scene. Its proven to be deadly for many fresh and salts. The action definitely lies on its tail, hence the narrow shaped end that gives this lure a great action on its end. Although it has a weak end, in the end it still proves to be deadly.
As for TDD, i think is much suitable for trolling technique. I haven’t use any TDD but in northern Australia, they are using big divers for estuary and also for their barra. It can be applied here in Malaysia too. Im sure it be deadly for toman, tapah, sebarau and also featherbacks..

yes bro size..its was my friend lure.he modified the falsh perch tdd.due to color torn..so…became red head…hope rapala will release..soon[:D]
Fred maybe you should ask Rapala to reveal the design philosophy behind TDD. From there we can see what it is suitable for [;)]

The first one is new colour for 2010. The other 2 with the red bib is custom made for other market. We have this HT and RDT colour with clear bib [:D]

Is TD5 still gonna be here or are replaced by bigger size only… just wanna know cos better stock up if no more for it’s just too good to be true kinda lure u know… lol
i particularly loves the action and pattern of the limited edition series which debut years ago… now ofcos they’re no longer that ‘limited’ liao la. However are those colour such as the original or oldschool rapala colour are being used anymore? Cos so far only the pearch or orange colour are old school, even their eyes are not classic anymore haha but it’s not so important just wanna know bout the old school fire tiger(not the new ones), crawded(i know TD first batch also dun hav this colour), green(this one not bad), silver, shad etc…
Not that the new colours arent good, just tat i found them do not hav the oomph la lol. I;m too old school edi for all reason just kinda old la can;t explain why… But i seems to love those classic colours most, the new ones arent tat attractive to me wonder why… Some are too unnatural but others are okay just dun hav the feel yet i guess haha
