Tg Pinang(29th Apr - 1st May)

Reach there at night around 9pm then start fishing. First night was a nightmare for me as they reach the place at 9pm but we have our dinner when we reach there. I’m so damn hungry during the journey to the first fishing spot, and finally the gasses inside my stomach and finally mabuk laut for the first night. I ate after we reach as our cook can only start the cook after the ship stopped. Cought only 1 Kaci on the first night, before i mabuk & vomit & sleep. But the rest of my team(4 ppl) was having good time of getting (jenahak)(ang chor) in the range of 2-5kg… sigh… wat to do.. mabuk kills me.

2nd day was such better for me. I woke up early and straight eat my breakfast before it happens again. So finally my stomach didn’t get upset & start fishing. Overall for daytime fishing is not that good, we got some ikan ketarap, pinang fish, and other fish that in mid size. But at night time, as most of my team was tired fishing from first night till 2nd night, they slept early. So only me & another 1 fishing over there. My first fish landed on that night was Jenahak/Ang Chor and was quite happy about it, and hoping to get more of it. But i couldn’t hit any jenahak any more, and getting all the other fish such as merah, kerapu, pinang fish, and other cheap fish. After around in 3am, I was hit by a BIG pari harimau 27kg(which was the biggest landed fish in the whole trip), and successfully landed it after 1 hour fight with him. My backbone feel like gonna patah already. After that, i got another bigger pari (estimated around 50kg+) which I had give up to land it as it stay on the sand & refuse to move up no matter how I tried for 1 hour as well. It was too big, and keep on dragging my line going out… and finally pull the string off to break it so at least i won’t lost all my line in the water. After this 2 big pari hit me, then after 30 minute of waiting again, I got another smaller pari…which was in the size of 8kg… it was a night of pari for me, and the rest of my team are calling me pari king already… My hand was shaking after I landed this 3 pari and I had enough of my fight and went to sleep…

3rd day, final day… woke up arond 8am was my team was talking very loudly while fishing…my backbone & my hands are aching of the fight yesterday. So i get myself some jigging setup and go for it… so we cought some kerapu, pinang fish, and other similar fish as 2nd day… we went up to land around 2pm…

I know most of u all bored of reading my story, and hope the pictures will do the rest of the talking behalf of me. Below are the pictures of our catch…

Hope u enjoy reading my report… gonna go sleep now… zzzzz byez
