I’ve met up with the snakehead team fishing kakis, they informed me that they have discovered a secret fishing ground for toman (snakehead) up somewhere 350km (4hrs drive ) Northeast of Thailand. It not your usually water dams fishing. This natural & beautiful fishing sketch almost 400 rai (160 acres), with low clouds and mountain views as backgoround scenery. 
Their last trip there, landed a few pretty decent size 4-8kg toman.

Hi John, that place looks very familiar to me, could it be KHAO LAEM ??
I believe there are also giant pla yee sook thai ranging from 10 to 50 kg, pla soop keet aka sebarau and kalui aka giant gouramy. It reminds me of my adventure in the 1990s there.

Hi Thomas, this place is not Khao Laem.
Actually all natural places in thailand look also similar with each other. haha !!
This place is located in the northeast side of thailand.
