fizzy,
yeap, i read about the damage to the organs.
hmm as for fishing in Belum, maybe still can in the lake areas. i think only the rivers are banned.
btw we were using Yusof’s boat house. guides are ok leh, but better if u bring your own truster if u would like to cover more areas whilst casting. give those guys a break man
innerzen,
here r some useful tips.
There are 2 types of toman rise, one is it comes up n gulps the air and the other is, it comes up n moves slowly(mostly more than 3 seconds on the surface) occasionally the tail comes out like its waving to u.
During the rise, u can use popper as the hit rate will be almost 70%. fast retrieve will be good.
For the gulping air fellows, i recommend super fast retrieve with deep crankbaits or stop-jerk-retrieve technique to entice the bugger. see which technique works better for u, n bright coloured firetiger lures are hot
Sebarau, usually they like grassy areas in the evening outside the lubuks (maybe island area) facing the wind direction with waves crashing onto the banks. cast into weedy bottoms and slowly sneak your lures around the underwater bushes. confirm they’r there (using shallow/deep crankbaits)
roughneck,
wassup man, yeah! u can give eddy a buzz. he’s on holiday at the moment. we were using yusofs boathouse
FB,
japanese style emphasize alot on the 30% or 70% sky rule, if u notice the angles, mostly are from low shots. thrust the fish forward but try to avoid contact with the fish. as u know, a finger on the fish can actually tell its actual size already. basically a balanced shot would be the guy far away from the fish. there are many angles, but the best is to take a few shots, with the fish taking up 20-50% of the picture.
try not to cloud the photo and if u like to take scenery of the whole area, u can have 70% background and 30% of you+fish inside. it will look really awesome
these are just my rough guide of how to take pictures and posing to complete the photo. heheh everyday i m still learning to improve
kill the friggin’ netters
