it’s called ikan tali pinggang or nangkin in my area. it has super sharp teeth and I was quite surprised that you didn’t noticed that you’ve caught the fish. hahahhahaaa…
Hi tbyrodney, what U have shown is a different type of fish from mine. Yours is call rainbow fish or belt fish or hairy tail. Same it had many sharp teeth but the body shape is thin n flat. My conger eel is round like a snake.

What shoreangler caught is called malong emas in malay. Make a good bait for bigges.
