A last minute trip was planned for the
VANILLA GORILLAS. The sea was too calm
and hot for comfort, first half of that
day saw three desperate anglers speeding
from one fad to another, we covered four
fad, but no sails in sight until we came
to the 5th fad, that we had the first
hook up, but it was a s’pore marlin,
we rebaited and the second strike saw
an angry sail tail waking, trying
to shake
off the hook, but Jon kept the line tight,
and after 15 minutes, the first
personal record about 30kg was boated.
After a quick photo session, the sail was
revived and released. All in we had three
hook up and landed two, one busted the
line on James rod. Let the pictures tell
the rest of the stories:

Towards the afternoon, we had a
surprise visit from a tired swallow.
It took a rest on my sun visor while
I was
busy rigging up some leader, I did not
know until Jon told me there was a
little birdie on my head, clinging on
to
my sun visor. I gently plucked the
swallow and put it on my palm, it
refused to fly off and stayed still,
looked like it was tired and sick &
looking for help, it stayed on until
we reached the jetty. I told the
skipper to look after the welfare
of the little birdie before we left.
Whether it survived, I let nature to
take it’s course, bye bye birdie.

Agreed ! … Good things are surely coming your way ![:)]
If they take a while, do not worry. In my completely opposite case, one of the buggers dirtied my cap - took 3 days before some idiot scratched my car.[:(!]
Thomas,
the main thing is that you have done a good deed.
Carry a rod and speak softly.
That little birdie was 20 nautical miles
away from land when it took a rest on my
visor, that was a smart birdie, it took
a ride with us to the jetty. It could be
sick, but it was definitely very tired.
That swallow would be hard to survive if
it was 20 nautical miles away from land.
Yesterday I received a good message from
the skipper, after a good rest and some
water, it flew off, hope it will survive
to remember some good deed rendered by
some kindhearted human beings. Now for
some fishing video:

Haha, that little bird was too tired to do anything…
just stayed still as if it knew it was in safe hand.
