Greetings my fellow forumers last week I had to do something before everything was gone/ wiped out from one of my best playground for Tomans, I was not so worried about the PB’s there but the huge tomans that always put my gears to the ultimate test.. I was informed by one of my friends that many people came to know about this spot and adding to that our local fishing magazines had released the map and photos of these locations recently..to be honest my heart shattered!!!i don’t know who to blame, those people who don’t know to keep secrets or the media.Dont they realize that not everyone who is into fishing practices CNR… I asked myself am I fighting this battle alone or are there anglers who share the same thought but just not willing to do anything??
I made a phone call to Kurosawa San, I had mentioned this place to him before but we never found the time to execute a trip there due to each ones busy schedule… I told Kurosawa san…it’s now or never…he being a Toman fanatic for its run said “why can’t people CNR , is toman tasty?”… I seriously didn’t know how to answer him but I replied " This sat…this sat…now or never"… He replied" 80% confirm but don’t know if work will permit" [xx(]Kurosawa San called me on Thursday evening and I heard what I wanted to hear from him…“Lets go this Saturday”..
Saturday came!!
It was 4am , I haven’t slept since the night before, I reached Kurosawa San’s home in PJ…We loaded our gear into the vehicle and the journey begun. We reached the fishing ground, no one was at sight as if the place wasn’t visited by anyone, then it hit me" its Saturday many people are still working"… so we unloaded our gear and off we went.
We went to all the Toman hotspots but I was disappointed with the hit rates and there was not even one Toman on sight…I knew we shouldn’t waste anymore time so we moved to the PB grounds of the lake…Thanks to the PB’s breeding habit, we manage to land a few decent ones and had fun!!!

The fish of the day - Jelawat on a Megabass Margay lure

my first fish of the day- an average peacock whacked the GDX Viper when the lure dropped on the water surface…

Kurosawa San was hooked on to this lure from here onwards- The lure is a modified zeal pencil which was added with the propellers from the famous amazon ripper - Thanks Suzuki San(RHA)

As u guys can see…same lure…same spot…different fish..Kurosawa San just didnt want to change lures!!![}:)]

The megabass prop darters never failed me …prrrt…prrrt…prrrt…BANG!!!

Never had a decent fish on this Hajime Murata/Waterland lure…At Last it served well

Oh yes i get the message " Best lure of the day award" #%^%#% the lure is half in size of the fish!!!

The Ima Tripp was extreme fun on 4-8lbs spinning…[:D]

my new toy contributed too…[8D]

[V] the one and only Toman landed at the playground…[V]

the hand sprayed duel wobiru-1 was effective in shallow and murky water…

The photo says it all…FIN…
Both me and Kurosawa San were dehydrated already, time was 1:45pm so we decided to head to launch point… We had fun but not the fun i use to eperience 5 months back…Where did all the Tomans go??? fished out? I just hope that people realise the importance of CNR and what are the effects to our local fishes here if we don’t do something about it…
I went back on the next day to near by playgrounds in the same area… will try update the photos once i get hold of it…
Hope everyone enjoyed !!!
