murah, but i think can use the compressor only lah [:D]. the “air brush” is for painting wall lah, and other large surface. i don’t think can be used for our small lure (the detail painting), unless you wanna make a 40cm lure lah [:P]
No idea about the compressor in the Malaysian eBay auction, but the air brush looks like my al cheapo made in China one ~RM90-120. When shopping for air compressor do not just look for the pressure rating, the cfm (ie how much air can come out in sustained volume) is important too. For heavy duty continuous painting consider a system with an air bank as well. but if u want u can make ur own airbank if u’re looking at not more than 50psi, higher got kaBOOM issues.

The 1st one looks conviencing. The comp. good, not the a/brush. Yup, its a cheapo. But does’nt meant its not good. At least its new, meaning its never been abuse in any way. The hand piece is a very delicate thing. If decide 2 buy, look for undamage needle, bengkok ke tak, unclogged nozzle, meaning kena test laa. Watch for steady flow of spray, not semput2 air.
The 2nd one no good laa. Spray can NOT suitable. Maybe can buy diff a/brush. The comp doesnt seem to have the preasure meter(dono what 2 call it) n the water trap. I dont think the preassure is adjustable, is it?
Hey guys, just remembered, saw a couple of compressors at Cash Converters PJ a couple of weeks ago.. secondhand but still looks good, similar to mine, box type. Cost around RM250, if I remember it right. Dont think it comes with the hand piece, but put it this way: comp:RM250, buy new a/brush RM150±(cheap china made) Total: MR400++ still cheap..

can use. Infact one of my friend bought a s/hand compressor from motorcycle shop (the one 4 pumping tyre) Works well 4 him, except for the noise. Its a bit loud, that thing.. Some people say referigerator comp. also can, if youre good with tools & electrical stuffs. Have to modify a bit..
I accidentally bought 1 pack of off white epoxy last night… and its property is nothing like the clear one [xx(]. tried to use it for filling the thru wire, but until this morning before i come to work, its still haven’t fully cure ( > 10 hrs)
is there anything or anywhere i can use it for??[:(]
BTW, the Epoxy 2 ton that you bought for me is actually 10 minutes working time. I’m not complaining here as I have other uses for it and at RM 7.50, it is cheap compared to our prices here in PJ! Used it to make tag poles instead and they held good!! hehehe!
Just thought to point out to you to look at the working time before purchase. For final coat, 30 minutes is a must as we epoxy a bunch of lures at the same time!

normally the ‘non-curing’ is due to mixng ratio, try mix again w the same volumn but i guess u know that already [:D]
nowadays the devcon in the market is mostly 10min curing time n sets at 30min
Those hardware shop fella will tell u is 30mins n i dont blame them coz the misleading is from the supplier/salesman.
I’ve place order from 2 hardware shop specifically indicating 30min curing time n sets in 2 hrs but the supplier/salesmen deliver to the hardware shop the 10min stuff claiming is the same thing[:(!]

I have bing using the 10 min stuff too. short working time, but need to be very fast, stir mix 15 sec. apply coat in 9 min. Can only do one fish at a time.
If you guy intrested in the slow curing epoxy & can be used with your airbrush, let me know. I’ll check out the actual cost & tech spec.
