SG angler Chong pulled his best friend (Zhi Wei) along for a fishing trip in Thailand. Chong wanted to posion his best friend to take up fishing as hobby just like him.

Guess what Chong chose to go for their virgin fishing trip to Thailand. Our first day fishing at BSR for the usual mekong catfish and the 2nd day for the wild sebarau trip.

Note: Zhi Wei never fish before ,least know how to do a casting…
Wait till you see how he outperformed & surprised himself in the wild sebarau trip. haha !!!

DAY 2… Wild Sebarau fishing trip.

“True Anglers Are Made And Not Born”.- How true is this sentence mean !!!

No matter what is your background and fishing skills. As long you’re willing to learn, you can make great process in fishing for sure.

I’m a living example !!! Through hardwork and never give up attitude. Keep trying new things & tactics , I’ve become a better angler myself. :slight_smile:

Zhi Wei like I mentioned NEVER fish before and not to mention fish in the big wild dam. Chong initially was a bit worried that Zhi Wei may not get any fishes at all since he is a newbie angler. But I personally assured Chong that there is nothing to worry about as I’m around to look after him. :slight_smile:

Since Zhi Wei is the least experience angler here , I make sure he sit on the same boat as me. This way I can give Zhi Wei advise on where to cast his lure and what to lookout for in the wild ?

It much easier to teach a new angler czu they come to me as a ‘blank piece of paper’. Whatever I taught them, they will always remember diligently with their heart. No doubt about it. :wink:

That day , Zhi Wei not only outperform and surprise himself with the most fishes but also landed the biggest fish (1.5KG) of the day for the trip.

Even if there was no fish that scenery on the lake is beautiful. No crowds. The fishing is a bonus!
