Hey guys…need opinion again…now its either twinpower or stradic..stradic is so light and rm500 less than twinpower…but then again…twinpower xship tech is so smooth and made in japan furthermore… can it justified the RM500 difference?

if you have the $$, twinpower … smooth, strong, timeless, relatively light [:D]
new TPs are past the rm1k mark
TP tech/engineering different from the strad .. worth every penny if you’re serious
if on budget, the stradic/biomaster … new ones using x-ship … bigger gears
like the new strad very much, pearl(escent) white … value for money
all metal or so it seems, makes it all the more attractive for me personally [^]
Guys, Can list down the Shimano spinning, which feels its worth it to buy?? I plan to take one for my GF as well.. Never use or buy Shimano before, so no experience.

that would be a very subjective question. I would suggest that you list your budget and those sifus will have better idea in advising you.

if i recall, 300 can;t even get u a stradic bro, the cheapest on ur list… unless u r looking at some old models
but anyhow, u won’t be disappointed with any shimano reels spinning above rm200 each, but the same cannot be said for daiwa… so, stick to shimano!

i think u can get a cheap one like aernos for ur gf it’s like 100+ rm150 like tat only… then keep 450 to get biomaster lo. both are good enough… the smoothness of shimano cheap reel is unparallel to any daiwa even double tat price

Hi,
If you have the dough, then get the twinpower. Super smooth and is build similar to their flagship, stella. Further, I found out that the stradic has alot of free play couple with cheap material (internally) being put in used maybe because is made in M’sia.
But, that’s not to say the stradic is no good either. Is pretty decent reel with generous reduction in weight due to CI4 material being employed. Silky smooth compare to daiwa reels.
The other reel you may want to consider is the Rarenium CI4 which is a JDM reel. Should be similar in terms of pricing also.

acheong, FX my fren use full drag on the 2500 to fight 5kg+ pacu havent broken yet. Alivio 1000 already broken(i mean the pin tat make the kringgg sound only), but still smoother than any daiwa out there with double the price.
Hooi. like i said, no need to sacrifice to use only BC. Can get 2 for rm600 just get 2 different one. She wont notice the difference one lah between biomaster or aerlex, maybe only in a couple of years time la due to wear n tear. Takan 2 same reel so weird lol
