Kingfisher,
unfortunately tackle shopes in KK doesnt carry any fly rods!
You can contact Nick of Tackle box and see what he can do.
Looking forward to meet up with you in KK soon.
Mike

Kingfisher,
Yes, call Nick at 03-56370268. I’m sure he can send you one posthaste…paid for by KLM?[:D]

Good Day,
If I may make a suggestion? I would recomend looking into a four, five, or seven piece rod for travel. They are small enough to carry onto the plane and can fit with or in your carry on luggage. Then no lost rods! Also, sometimes here in the states some fly fishers send their rods ahead separately via the mail or UPS or other such courier.

Yeah Chris,
The latter method seems quite practical.
Eeventho it would means higher cost.
But it’s always better than loasing a precious rod.

Kingfisher,
Call Nick of Tacklebox up at 019-2025524 for your emergency fly needs. He is the owner of the flyfishing equipment shop here and would know what you need for Sabah.
