What can you do with a 2 - 6 lb rod ?

Dear frens,
I am contemplating of getting this rod.
It certainly will add to my arsenal of rods and give me a wider variety of fishing options.
But…
Can you advise me what a rod of such filmsy build will do?
Under what kinds of situations it will shine?

basically, there are two things a sane angler would be desiring from a light rod, either a good fight or a good responsive cast. build it in the middle, u shall get the middle middle of nowhere.

depends on wot you want and want to achieve/target, bro
wide range and variety of choices
cheap, mid- and high end available, as in rmxx, rm1xx-rm3xx, or rm7xx even, and then we have the rm1xxx+ variety.

have only held a shimano scimitar and st croix in hand
scimitar quite soft, whippy … nice fight with small to mid-sized fish, including tilapias of 800g-1kg+ with 500 series spinning reel

st croix much stronger backbone, not as whippy and almost, but not quite, 1/2 as thin - wish i could get one to try out

don’t dare to try out troutino - long, 2pc, very whippy, expensive

in addition, there is 1-6lb, 2-4lb, 2-8lb, 4-8lb, 4-10lb (ppl, correct me if i’m off)

there are those who’ve landed teenaged tomans using st croix
wish we have trout here .. but the locals + indons and their mindset would put paid to their (trout) existence

Ofcoz pair with conquest 51, my east coast friends had always been hunting GTs, tengiris, parang, ladyfish, queeny. What else u have in mind, zuju?

I am convinced that there will be plenty of excitement in store.
The requirements to get to those excitements are:

You must have a boat;
The waters where you fish must have little obstructions;
A landing net or Boga must be ready as you are not going to lift
up the fish;and,
There is a peacockbass waiting.
