possible to impose some sorts of eligibility rules on who can post items for sales here? Not try to be restrictive but to filter out those low life or cheats to carry out one time con deals. Not fool proof but at least serve as first layer filter.
Also, I wish to place on record my seriously doubt on this sale posted by TJS, i think someone steal his user id and password. The TJS that i know, will never have daiwa reels in his possesion, LOL.

No problem, as i said… this thread dedicated to the resurrection of classified… In truth there’s no profit in this sales at all as the Daiwa alone edi cost RM90 n it’s almost brand new
What i want is the spirit of classified MFN section to be vibrant as it it used to be… I don’t mind, the merrier the better!
So guys… no paiseh(jgn malu2), just post any comments to spice up the place(with classified related stuff ofcos) since there’s no such room for this in classified section yet. Let this be it guys…

landlord vincent, i suggest we implement some rules fast… to prevent con-men from tearing down this section again.
here are some ideas… please feel free to criticize. thanks.
i personally like what TT does… they only allow you to post things for sale when u have certain number of previous postings throughout the forum.
this could allow members to get to know the sellers before attempting to trust them with your bank transfers.
also could prevent some ppl from starting to use this place at a platform for a full-out online business, or ‘for-monetary-gain-only’ advertising.
i think lubuk’s old rules (i think still exists, but ppl dunno how to follow) of putting tags at the beginning of your post, will help us scan through the listings… (e.g. [WTB] for ‘want to buy’ or [LF] for ‘looking for’, [WTS] for ‘want to sell’ or [FS] for ‘for sale’)
i think some rules on information that the seller must provide would be helpful. (e.g. name, method of payment, location of item, price, condition of item, reason for sale, etc.)
ppl must not be allowed to post stuff that are listed on ebay or any other site. the item must be owned by the seller.
just these few things i can think of now. maybe it would be good to look at some other forums and ciplak a little from here, a little from there…
