Just stumble onto this 3 reels for sale by fellow distance/surf caster here…just in case any of u guys interested…just give me or viper a shout…we dont get any profit out of it…just think maybe theres any of u casting tart back home interested…cheeerrss…
Hi rapalajoe…
erm I’m a new guy here and has taken interest regarding your offer. Actually, I’ve done surfcasting few months back but using a spinning set. I’ve been thinking of using this multiplier reels but afraid I cannot lay the line properly since it has no levelwind. Any suggestion bro? like in terms of beginner for using this type of reel? which (levelwind or without) suit best for beginner like me?
if im the beginner i’ll go for the no levelwind,if not you’re still and will ever be a beginner…so you only have to begin once…
line lay, i dont think it’s the biggest problem you should care about, mind about the acceleration of the cast…question, is it you not going to bird nest if using the levelwind reel…
dont afraid…

Kuantan Distance Casting Malaysian Open Champion - June 2007 - 211.56mHi ROW…the ultramag not suitable for fishing scenario IMHO…most of this old ultramag models have been tweak for field/distance casting use…i dont think it will hold and can stand the harsh condition of fishing situation.
Regarding the non levelwind reel…it do help u to get more distance while fishing…as for levellin’ the line manually…u’ll grt use to it and in matter of time its gonna be ur second nature to do it even without looking at the spool or in nite time fishing…same as casting using multiplier at nite…once u get use to it u wont have problem of feathering the spool and stopping the spool at the right time without getting a blowup/birdnest.
Thanks for the info brothers…appreciate it. Can’t wait to start surfcasting again but this time using using different set hehe. Do you happen to have any friends who’d like to sell any used surfcasting rod?
Heard that zziplex and is the best but the price is way high..anyway if someone is going to sell it cheap (below 1K or less [:D]), let me know yaa…thanks again brothers.
bro. row… u try to get the better spinning rods & mod them as bc rods… waaayyyy cheaper than those “surfcasters” rods… u dont even have to put in a reel seat, just 2 coasters will do to hold ur bc in place…
cheers

Those zziplex rods still haunting me la after my visit to Sabre tackle. what a beauty.

Hi pari lang…I cant remember the name of the road but it is near to Mandarin Hotel. If you’re heading from Sg Besi, after Nichii on your right, there’s an interchange, then take a left turn heading to jln kuching. Approx 1km (or less) from there, it’s on your left side..happy searching [:D]
tq for your info redoverwhite…
