Hi Fred,

Why is it so difficult to obtain a Rapala catalog here in Penang? The tackle shops only have one copy and is guarded like gold.

Hi vinlim,

The catalogs are limited and each tackle shop is given 1 or 2 copies. They used it very often to make their stock order and as well as to show customers the latest products.

I can understand it will be nice to have a copy by yourself. We will try to see if we can upload parts of the catalogue in this forum as I am not sure if how much memory it will take.

Fred making it available as a pdf download would be possible? Make ordering from shop easy also [;)]

If not pdf format just copy n paste the link…so it not make the forum heavy…or any way that rapala-vmc malaysia can sale direct…min 5pcs..etc…hehehe…like in Sarawak( i think others also got same problem)…they order limited stock, limited colour, patern or design…we will to pay extra money to post it…hehehehe…only my crap suggestion.. :wink:

current we do not do direct sales. I understand the frustration at times which is the reason the enquiry section was setup to try to address this issue. You guys can log into Rapala.com to know more about the products. Look under the international section. [:D]

Hope rapala can give standart price to all shop and plus with auth sticker dealer n letter(and copy of the letter must stick on the shop wall) for shop to show to customer…so when we need something then can order for us…

100% agree with the suggestion.

We give a guideline price for our retailers but we leave it to them to give discounts to their customers.

For our premium dealers, you can see their award which is in the form of a wooden display of a Rapala and Storm lure. Hm.. I think I will list out those premium dealers in each area. These retailers are usually the bigger stockist. [;)]
