Fast Action and Medium Action Rod

Hi…
I just want to know what is a different between Fast Action Rod And Medium Action Rod. Actualy, i’m now trying to build my own rod and i prefer to make a medium action rod for siakap and toman( using deep crank lure). So anyone here can tell me:

  1. Blank to use for Fast And Medium Rod
  2. Length of Rod
  3. Different or guide spacing using for both type of rod.
