Can I have some information on how to prepare the Palm Fruit or Kelapa Sawit bait for river or pond fishing.
Questions are:-
Should I soak them with just plain water or salted water or add anything to it?
How long should I soak them?
How to hook them? Cut to cubes? or Hook the whole fruit?

Best is collecting those over ripe oily fruit laying on the floor that will stain your hand when picking them up. Slice and string hook them like “satay”.
Raw ripe seed boil with cooking oil is another alternative.
Soaking with water not my preference.

my “satays” never got me any fish …
wonder if it’s too big, too little, too fresh, too stale, wrong presentation …
it was more of an experiment to see if any fish took it or what fish would take it [:I]

especially any stretch that has oil palms on its bank..

I only have 13 years of fishing experience, so must beri tunjuk ajar!
I have begun soaking them in water, erm… will show the picture once I got home, the water is abit cloudy. Do i need a fresh water change?
