There is many inquiries with regards to the lure availability, colours and other issues. You can post any questions here and we will try to answer them and assist you guys to find that particular if possible.

On the other hand, we will also give some additional information with regards to understanding the product code and colour code as well as other information that is useful.

thank you,

Fred

Hehehe Fred[:D], looks like you’re gonna get your hands full trying to answer all the questions from forummers. Keep up the good work[:D].

ha ha.. I am ready for it and thanks for the encouragement. It is my pleasure to serve the forummers here. [;)]

Understanding the lure model code:

XR08/CLN - X Rap, 8 cm, Clown
XR- refers to all X-Rap series lures
08 - size of the lure, 8cm
CLN - colour of the lure

other examples like SP and SSP, what is the difference. SP - Skitter Pop, SSP - Saltwater Skitter Pop. CDMag - Countdown Magnum, FMag -Floating Magnum.

Hi Fred,

I’m really interested in this RED SHAFT PACK ROD
Can i get one?
Where can i get it?

I’ve heard somebody owned the rod…really need the info
or maybe you can get them for the Malaysian market..

Thankss…

Fred bro,

Another of my favourite Rapala lure tat have gone extinct now, albeit only in M’sia i suppose, is the Rapala Rattlin RNR04, 1 & 1/2 inch. I use to own half a dozens of these smaller rattler but due to their expert ability in snagging, i only left with 2 and strictly for collection purpose only.

But during the trial with this lure i have many surprises and fantastic experience, anyway it’s the rattler that i own and get me fish, thus prompting me to have confidence in rattler concept’s lures! Because of their small profiles, they’re great bite size snacks for almost any lure eating fish, be it shy or aggressive. Plus it have all the features and advantage it’s bigger brother have, such as the RNR05… And especially there arent much competitor tat produces rattlers of that size, i think it can b a great hit it they hit out shore! Just my 2 cent

Me too have the bigger ones and they’re not hard to find, it’s just the smallest version of the rattler tat’s hard to come by and almost non-existance now! Could you bring these in again as well? haha… altho it’s just bout 1cm smaller, but it’s total surface area have significantly reduces which really makes them superior in highly pressured water!!!

On the other hand, i found out in Rapala online which have a Ultra Lite Kit for sale, here’s the link: http://www.rapala.com/products/accessoriesdetail.cfm?name=Rapala%20Ultra%20Lite%20Kit&category=Lure%20Accessories… Are they heading to M’sia too or available overseas only, because all 4 lures inside are really appealing and personnaly have good result on! And besides, there’s a mini rattler inside each kits, if single type of lure is not available, i don’t mind paying for 4 lures to get that mini rattler!

I only have 11 years of fishing experience, so must beri tunjuk ajar!

Hi Tan,

Thanks for sharing with us about RNR04. I am sure it has caught you many good fishes and good memories. I don’t fish much with the RNR04 but more to the RNR05. Did not realise the significant difference between that 1cm. [:D]
RNR04 is a very old model. It has been discontinued for years. The pack you see is only available from overseas. I can try to check with the factory but let me try my best to get the Fat Rap back first [:D] In that pack, is that a 4cm model? I try to read from it but no information.

Hi hazadin,

I am not sure yet but we are trying to work out with Rapala Japan to see if we can bring in some of their products for Malaysia. Your request is noted. Once they come back to us, we will inform you.

cheers,

Fred

Alright then, let’s do it one at a time la haha.

Yea i am very positive it’s a 4cm model, by comparing it with the other mini lures beside it. Anyway, the rnr04 also available without the package, http://www.rapala.com/products/luresdetail.cfm?modelName=rattlin_rapala&freshorsalt=Both.
