Caught this 5.5kg Queen fish early this morning around 1am on a bottom feeder rig with fresh night herring as bait.

What a good way to start a new year. That Queenfish is good salted enough for a month consumption, but be careful of high blood pressure though.

Haha…Salted fish is very nice to eat. but here in Singapore U can’t do it otherwise neighbours will complain about the smell.[:D]

Haha…thanks…me just got the time to fish than others. Actually that night before I hit, there are another two more Torium 16 reel the alarm did sounded but they just missed hook the fish. One of the angler joking say Torium reel no good as can’t catch fish. I heard it and told him let see what happen when a fish hit my Torium 20 reel. haha… true enough when it hit later and I manage to landed it.[:D]

I think that our water is just as good if not better. We are not fishing as hard as shoreangler. If we put in some effort I’m certain that our catch would be bountiful if not beautiful but we fish like bloodyfool how to be fruitful.
Since we are on the subject…when are we going to fish together-gether again and break the semilang catch record?

Haha…no..there are many big catches now adays here if U come to our local forum.
As what U had told Twelvefooter, I totally agreed with U. Put more effort and U will have the catches. Malaysia has lots of places to fish and it only how U go and find it. Not like here where alots of place is restricted for fishing.

you got a point there. but in Singapura naik basikal oso can catch fish as big as those we usually see deep sea angler caught. Kita sini like bro onn experienced in Melaka only catch biggggg plastic bags :-p
but now I am finding reasons only to go fish tlk ketapang there…i heard the bulus overthere besar scorpene hahaha…
as for the smilang why dun we try the stadium where u guys have the tourney…loks lazat to me…

Correct lah but still must naik basikal with your rod to the beach/jetty then only can catch fish. If you naik basikal just around the house, how to catch fish besar scorpene..he he I’m talking about effort dude. Let’s this year we be more organised more consolidated more…aiyah I think difficult lah coz we are committed differently.
…but whatever it is this year we must fish harder. Dude what do you mean stadium? tourny? I don’t get it.

Oh…you mean pantai aceh lah. No need lah dude buang karan je…We go kuantan area and catch that 5kg pecah periuk sister(remember kat anak air, after 2years sure bigger already) but on one condition, must have cabuk. No cabuk no fishing…!!! Maybe we should contact pari lang he’s in kuantan isn’t?
encik rahim…cabuk here oso can get…beserah pasar oso plenty…but anak air there when those people jaring you can just pick the pari kuantan suka makan bait after they finished their pick and move to the next spot…if you dunno which fish for kuantan pari bait just ask them and they can give u one baldi hehehe…wateva it is mulut mau manis n hati mau baik bang..

Tasik puteri I caught 7kg tongsan, my god I tell my hand all paining long time never pull big fish with one hand. Somemore Zai let me use his reel with braided line, aiyoh like kena current man I tell you. The scariest part was when the straw jump…masyallah I tell you, your heart also can skip a beat. Then the fish pull, if the drag not loose your rod will jump into the lake. Whatever it is dude let me tell you this, we have to go again (all of us lah)Edi’s coaching and dedak help a lot thanks man. Oops…this one surfcasting forum lah sorry…
trust in god but tie up your camel or loosen the drag.
