Other best prawn noodles are located in:

  1. Old Kepong where you can choose to add other things like spare part and tim kai
  2. Sisters prawn mee noodle in Jalan Pahang, also can add stuff
  3. Singapore near the Istana…soup grind with prawn and scallops. No chilli oil on top and you add it as an option.

But the food in Penang Island is so good..no need to tell which is good…just walk in to any restaurant/stall/warong/ tepi jalan tepi longkang, tengah jalan, atas sungai, atas laut guarantee all sedap-sedap, aloi aloi…if not sedap that means something wrong with you tongue…heheheh

any uncle/aunty in penang can cook hokkien mee lah…which u guys call prawn noodle lah/hokkien prawn noodle lah…bla bla.. hokkien mee is hokkien mee la. come to penang, any stall hokkien mee sure sedap wan la. remember to call ‘hokkien mee’ and not hokkien prawn mee ya, if not sure kena ‘tokk’ one, coz u sound like an outsider.
