I thought so.
What are u using for the mayfly wings? Are they a presold material?
–
Good Day,
Made by hand. Thin mylar sheet. Etched veins with a bodkin (needle). Coloered with black marker. Wiped off excess marker with Q-tip dipped in rubbing alchohol leaving marker in etched veins. (Takes practice. Not too much alchohol.)
There are two internet sites that come to mind who offer pre made wings:

A pix of “Malaysian” mayfly which I took when I was in Kenyir..
The colour varies from the “American” mayfly.. [:D]

Good Day,
First of all - thank you all for your kind comments!
Pellet fly - The competition is being judged this weekend (September 19-23) in Tuscany, Italy. So I hope to know something in a few days or a week.
FisheR - indeed a nice mayfly. Have you tied any up to represent it when you next go to Kenyir?
I remember when I lived In Singapore that I saw a few mayflies when I lived near MacRitchie resevior. The ones I saw the most were small (size 18 ) and green like a bright jade jewel. Lovely!
