I’ve just come back from a short holiday to Pangkor Island resort. During low tide, I noticed big piles of worm doo-doo very close to the wave line. I kicked one over and came back to it a bit later, saw the butt end of a worm excreting a continuous “tube” of sand. I asked the resort staff but they aren’t sure what these are. I’ve seen pumpums in Kepong Tackles before and pumpums seem rather mobile compared to these worms. Does anyone know what they are? BTW, I tried night fishing with my family, 4 rods in all but got washed out by heavy rain. We fed the crabs though 
I think they are lug worms (based on some videos I found on the Net)…lots of soldier crabs too… and red ants. The Resort feeds the local Hornbill population daily and the ants feed on the leftover fruits..
got bitten many times while snapping pics of the hornbills.
This link has a video on pumping out lug worms…I think we can reverse engineer the pump using PVC.. what do all the sifus say?
