Itinerary</font id=“size3”></font id=“red”>
7.30 am – 8.30 am</font id=“red”> : Registration of participants and breakfast
8.30 am – 9.30 am </font id=“red”>: Introduction to the 5 Essentials of Flycasting
9.30 am – 12.30 pm</font id=“red”> : Paricipants broken into groups and assigned to respective stations for 20 minutes before moving to the next and so forth.
Station 1</font id=“green”> – Accuracy Casting. Participants will be taught the key points on how to be an accurate caster. Learn how to place your fly close to your targets and increase your catch rate.
Station 2</font id=“purple”> – Roll cast. One of the most important casts in flyfishing. If you already know it, it’s time to sharpen up your rollcast skills. You will learn the various uses of the cast and when to apply.
Station 3</font id=“navy”></font id=“maroon”> – Reach mend and pile cast. These are casts that you will make time and time again fishing in moving streams or freestone rivers. Learn how to avoid ‘drag’ of your fly, how to apply the cast and how to execute.
Station 4</font id=“teal”> – Forming narrow and wide loops. Learn the simple techniques of rod tip control for effective loops. Learn the key points for more consistent loop shapes to fit your fishing situation. Bad tailing loops or wind knots? We’ll show the many simple ways to fix this.
Station 5</font id=“orange”> – Casting in windy conditions. Participants will be taught how to cast into a head wind and with wind blowing onto the casting arm. Put an end to free body piercing and broken rods. Learn many simple ways to handle fishing in the wind.
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm</font id=“red”> Lunch Break and Chit Chat
1.30 pm – 3.00pm</font id=“red”> All participants are invited to show your newly learnt skills in the UFO Mini Competition – Accuracy/Roll cast accuracy/3 pick-up and shoot Distance. Prizes for winner of each individual category and overall Grand Prize for Participant with the most points and “Caster of the Day Award”

3.00 pm</font id=“red”> onwards – Free time/Fishing
Equipment : All participants are requested to bring their own flyrod (5-7wt), Bright Floating Line and Leader.
