Imagine this scenario:
You want to post a particularly interesting fishing report, where you caught a tarpon on fly at a freshwater river.
In the old board, where would you normally post it? in Fishing Report? but that would rob the fly fishing board of a good topic.
With tags, this no longer becomes an issue.
You can just add the relevant tags, and those interested will be able to either search, or screen thru the latest posts easily.
While categories like [Freshwater] and [Saltwater & Estuary] will remain, we encourage the use of tags as much as possible to allow for post searchability.
Below you can see the tags being highlighted on the topic, and searchable easily by anyone interested in filtering their feed.
