hi guys, just wanna share with u my way of killing the haruan. Killing haruans can be hard, especially since they are very tough and fight for their life even when being gutted…
there was once when i gutted the fish after i thought it was dead, and after i took out all the guts… the fish started to shake it booty… damn scary… sudenly came back to life…
since that they, i went out to find out ways to slaughter the haruan without much torture to the fish and to yourself… some of the ways i used b4 i found out one best method was to put the fish in a plastic bag and whack it’s head… abit cruel… and messy… another way was to put it in the freezer… however, remember that they can still be alive after 3 freaking hours in the northpole…
i went to my tackle shop and asked the boss and he shared with me the following method… which is really effective and i think less cruel than smacking the damn fish on the head…
firstly, put the fish into a pail… without or with only very little water…
secondly, heat up some water till the steam comes out… but not till it’s boiling… use your hand to test the water… it should be warm enuff but not too hot and your fingers must still be able to withstand the heat from the water…
thirdly, pour the water into the pail… and cover it… the fish will swim a while… and then die… this is due to the fact that fish are cold blooded animals… their temperature will shoot up and eventually maybe get a heart attack and die
ps. make sure that the water is not too hot!! otherwise u will get a cooked haruan… kakaka… anyone with better methods on haruan slaying… dun hesitate to contribute…
I only fish on 3 days: yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
tuang air dalam baldi..dalam kuantiti yang sedikit(boleh nampak atas ikan) lepas tu masukan garam dalam segengam atau dua…tutup, ikan tu akan melomat-lompat sebentar..dan akan mati
bagi saya mengetuk kepada dengan kuat adah terbaik bagi ikan dan kita sendiri. nampak cara ini agak kasar dan kejam, tapi inilah cara terbaik bagi menamatkan riwayat haruan tersebut. ikan tak terseksa dan kerja kita lebih mudah. sekadar pendapat saya…
Hust slit the gills in between the join flesh just below the head, then slit both side of og the gills and leave it for a while sure to die. Notice when hooking up haruan with the hook attached to the gill, it never servived.

ni topik yg best..dari kecik aku ikut ayah aku tahan taut haruan kat sawah..sampai 200 batang taut sehari..dapat dlm 100 ekor..
cara nak matikan haruan senang je bagi yg kecik sebesar lengan..patahkan tengkok dia sampai bunyi mcm tulang patah..cara patahkan bengkokkan kepala kearah perut ikan tu kuat2..sekali tekan terus patah pastu ikan tu terus tak gerak lg..

hav a sharp object,stab on the head jus right after its pair of eyes.thats where the brain locates…well its definitely better to be released and keep 1 or 2 for the dinner table.
hmmm..saya biasanya potong insang je, jap je out..tapi, haruan ada dua insang, iaitu Labiritn..ala..insang cam batu karang tuh..organ itulah yang membolehkan dia hidup tanpa air..

there so many ways to slaughter a haruan … for me, potong je lek lok bila ikan dah dimatikan guna garam, tak suka hempas-hempas ikan & ketuk kepalanya … nampak kejam. Walaupun ikan .. tapi biarlah menghormati makhluk bernyawa. Pendapat seduit teman lerrr … [:D]
