Guys, being an observer in this forum for awhile. Like the way members put up their friendly post, comments, fish pics, etc, etc. Here i’m here as a newbie. [:)]
Hi Kevin,
Welcome to MFN. Which paypond are you referring to ‘pond 2’ ?

Hennesy, thanks for the reply. Pond 2 of Sealion. Are you familiar there?
Ohhh…familiar with Sealion but never been there. Perhaps you can be more specific about what info you are trying to ask, specify which pond & what fish you are targeting. Then the friendly ones might give you a tip & hint.

Kevin - you are referring to salt water ponds right ? The ones near a natural source of water like those in the estuaries ( Sea Lion is one ) can have a wide variety like Siakaps, Mangrove Jacks, Bawal Emas, Merah, Groupers, Taiwan Senangin and Finger Mark Bream ( Jenahak ). Some have even introduced the likes of stingrays, GT’s, etc. but these are very few as it is very difficult to keep them alive.
For the " salted ponds " like those in the PJ / KL areas - expect Siakaps and Mangrove Jacks - the other fellas do not seem to do well in these artificial environments.
My advice would be to simply ask the fellas there - like everything else, what they will put in is often affected by the supply side - availability and price.
Have fun ! [:)]
Thanks Mike.
Heard that SL is having a fishing competition today, 10am, 8/10/11. Guess it will be a ‘pasar malam’ scenario with all lines ‘criss-crossing’. Cheers!!
